
Brigitte Pircher
.... is an Associate Professor at Södertörn University, Stockholm. Her research interests encompass EU institutions, EU policy-making, and the politics of the European Union. Moreover, her work focuses on EU law and policies, particularly their implementation in member states, with a special emphasis on social policy and the internal market. Additionally, her research covers various aspects of public policy.

Before joining Södertörn University, Pircher held positions as Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Linnaeus University. She has also been a researcher at Copenhagen Business School and a lecturer at the University of Vienna. Pircher holds a Magister in Political Science from Innsbruck University and both an M.E.S. and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Vienna.
